Asian Regional Association for Home Economics (ARAHE) was established in 1983 to give Asian Home Economics Professionals the great opportunity to assemble and discuss the recurrent issues of everyday life and society from Asian perspectives, as the Regional Organization of IFHE.

World Home Economics Day 2024 in Asia will be held on 30 MAR 2024.
This year's theme is "HOME ECONOMICS 3.0: A Critical Update".
Dr. Sarunya Puakpong has been appointed President of ARAHE Dr. Sarunya Puakpong (Kasetsart University, Thailand) has been appointed president of ARAHE,
effective from 29 December 2023 to 31 December 2025,
following the resignation of the previous president, Mr. Albert M. Rosarda.
ARAHE, celebrating 40th Founding Anniversary The Asian Regional Association for Home Economics (ARAHE) is an international organization
of Home Economists and Allied Professionals in the Asian Region. ARAHE was founded in September 1983.
